  • Opportunity to work on large L&D projects for government clients
  • 6 month initial contract with possibility of extension

Our client is a successful RTO with long-term large pieces of work predominantly in government space. An opportunity for COMPLIANCE OFFICER / COURSE REVIEW OFFICER is now available with immediate start.

This project is an initial 6 month (fixed term) role for a course review officer to ensure all RTO training and assessment collateral is compliant, controlled, current and communicated.

Job description:

Current versions of curriculum materials need to be centralised, access-restricted and version controlled.

Review of assessments to ensure they meet the requirements of the training package.

Outputs from current industry consultations need to be clearly incorporated into materials.

Feedback from learners and trainers regarding training and assessment materials needs to be reviewed and incorporated.

There is also a need for a central point of contact for the curriculum materials to support the RTO staff while the materials are being reviewed / updated.


Qualified Instructional Designer (Diploma level or higher)

Substantial experience in analyzing, designing, developing and evaluating f2f nationally recognized training and assessment.

Experience with SIT and CPP training packages desirable.

Substantial experience in validation, mapping, reviewing, designing/redesigning curriculum materials and assessments to meet requirements of training package/s and

Ability to deliver training to upskill the trainers in the use of the materials (eg via video conferencing / technology or f2f).

Demonstrated skills and knowledge working within a version controlled documentation library and establishing and/or maintaining an electronic curriculum library.

Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply RTO standards in work and across compliance requirements.

Project management experience – can demonstrate a project management approach to curriculum / assigned projects – work to time frames, status reporting, etc etc

Demonstrated ability to multi-task but also stay on task and not get distracted by other demands so as to achieve outcomes in required timeframes.

Demonstrated high level skills in writing and interpersonal skills.

Advanced level skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
