Working arrangements                    Preference for these positions is to be performed from a National Office location in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Melbourne.
 

Requirement overview:
Our Govt agency is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced Technical Leads to deliver and support a range of ICT projects/programs.
Technical leads will be required to work with the project team, liaise with the technical team and lead work to develop new code, uplifting existing code and deliver requirements for enhancements and improvements (approximately 25% leadership and 75% hands-on software development)
 
Requirement Responsibilities:
  • Technical leads will be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Participating in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and maintain a C# based, n-tier, enterprise software and associated documentation in accordance with AEC standards.
  • Developing automated application build and deployment scripts using technologies such as Team Foundation Server (TFS). PowerShell and Final Builder.
  • Following the Scrum Development Methodology for all software development projects.
  • Liaising with technical and business area staff to facilitate the rapid resolution of issues and/or faults within fielded production systems and those still under development.
  • Leading development team through workload allocation and mentoring and advising on agile development processes.
