Requirements As the IT Project Manager, you will plan, execute, and close an ICT project in the Data Platforms and Education Systems branch. You will work as part of an agile delivery team to enable the department to modernise the Provider Registration and International Student Management system to make it easier for providers to submit student enrolment data.
The candidate will be:
- Adept at IT project management, including the management and tracking of dependencies, progress, risks, and issues.
- Able to communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Able to communicate and work with IT development and delivery teams.
- Able to use suitable Agile practices for the development, testing and implementation of IT solutions.

Working arrangements This is a full-time position where the candidate is expected to come into the office 5 days a week unless a flexible ad hoc arrangement has been agreed upon with management. Working days are the standard 8 hours a day and it is expected that most of these hours are between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM AEST.

Criteria Essential criteria 1. Demonstrated project management experience (5 years minimum, 10 years' desirable) in ICT projects and ability to work in an Agile delivery environment.
40 % 2. Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering 3+ years ICT projects that involved broad stakeholder engagement with fixed budgets.
20 % 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both delivery team and business.
20 % 4. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, organise workloads and meet challenging deadlines under limited direction.
20 % Desirable criteria 1. Experience in influencing, coaching, and developing teams
2. Experience in scrum master role
