Our Australian client engineers complex and robust end to end turnkey solutions for the critical telecommunications, public safety, utility, mining, and construction industries.
They are looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery and execution of large scale projects across the region. Working closely with customers, the role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of operational relationships
Ideal candidates will be experienced professionals with a proven track record in the growth, implementation, delivery and on-going maintenance of Client services within the Communication sector. You will have high-level planning, management and problem solving skills and extensive experience in developing professional networks and relationships at a senior level both internal and external.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Using strong project management skills and delivery methodologies to lead the delivery of projects across the region within planned timelines, budget, margins and quality specifications.
- Manage & develop the highest standards of client relations
- Manage all aspects of both operational and commercial delivery relating to the provision of key services to clients
- On-going Management of the client facing Service Level Management Process with the goal of maintaining and improving service quality to clients.
- Monitor, review and report on service performance to clients
- Continuously seek opportunities to increase revenue through the development of services
- Leverage of the ITIL Service Management and delivery frameworks into the team and with process partners
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced professional, with a proven track record in the growth, implementation, delivery and on-going maintenance of Client services within the Telecommunications sector and with the following:
- Expert project management experience in a technical environment Utilising appropriate methodologies (such as risk mitigation/management, change/control management and contract management) to manage the delivery of major projects
- High-level planning, management and problem solving skills. Ability to think strategically and manage change processes.
- Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization
- Extensive experience in developing professional networks and relationships at a senior level both internal and external to the organisation.
- Extremely adaptable – able to respond effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Advanced Service Delivery experience with a proven ability to build, develop and implement strategies for service improvement.
- Strong understanding of service management and service delivery models, processes, and methodologies.
